COLLEAGUES FOR THE COORDINATION OF FREELANCE AND FVG PRECARIOUS

BUDGET OF THE SITUATION AND UPCOMING ACTIVITIES '
(Attachment: minutes of the meeting of June 14, 2010 )
Dear colleagues,
the arrival of the season of leave (for those who practice them ...) suggests a moment of reflection on the future activities and commitments of our coordination. Over the last year, in fact, many initiatives have been undertaken by us, some successful and others not, while a number of projects still rest in the drawer of good intentions.

We have developed a regional platform in recent months Claims Freelancers (who has received a lot of interest in other regions), we conducted two seminars on contracts for freelancers and the press, development of services as an accountant and insurance for accidents and illness, three of our elected representatives in the Regional Commission for the work automomo dell'Assostampa, we have an efficient space on Facebook and a blog also rich in original video content ...

addition, our coordination is now considered a model of reference within the FNSI, the processing power of theory and organizational skills and communication. And our activities were so popular, in recent days that this writer was nominated by freelance colleagues in other regions, and then elected unanimously, coordinator of the National Commission of FNSI for self-employment, which is starting its work.
Yet, despite such a curriculum of activities and awards, our coordinator has suffered a severe setback with the recent regional elections of the Order of Journalists, where freelancers have not gone to vote and we had no service. In addition there is a widespread attitude "passive-waiting", for which most of his colleagues expect from our activities on improvement of their employment status (and complain about it if it does not), but without the least work alle iniziative e agli impegni del Coordinamento.

Including non-union members), we have various means of intervention, we collected membership contributions and commitment in every province in the region ...

But most of my colleagues continue to remain passive, waiting for the "successes" of the few to undertake, and the "benefits" for their employment status, but do not put anything just to get it.
As I have always stressed, neither the union nor the coordination to be confused with an employment agency, or as structures super-organized and equipped with powerful economic and human resources, to turn to only when you have personal problems to solve.
And, to get change, you have to open disputes to collective bargaining, impose new rules and contracts for freelancers, and constantly compare with other professional bodies (trade unions, Order, editorial boards ..) ;
But all this is clear, will never do a "handful of heroes" who engages in military action by "special forces", while most of the window is a freelance watching, hoping to eventually obtain the personal benefits ... Sorry

L' assemblea aperta organizzata a Trieste il 14 June, except in extraordinary novelties, will be the last until September.

Circulation of information, and to provide some tools for analysis, we have provided a verbal summary of that meeting, that we attach to this mail, and invite everyone to read.

As for us, during the summer, those who are actively engaged in coordination, to develop some tools, communication and technical support, while in parallel we are developing links and exchanges of information and experiences with other regions. And in September tireremmo the ranks of all, to understand how and with whom they need to continue this path.

Buona estate, e buon lavoro a tutti

Maurizio Bekar
(del Coordinamento freelance, e vicesegretario Assostampa FVG)

Lice Incubation Period

The Commission is organized into five operating groups

PRESS RELEASE - FOR ALL COLLEGE:

THE COMMISSION PLAN IS SELF-EMPLOYMENT FNSI
IN 5 UNITS

Immediate operation and joint working groups for Commission on the work of independent Fnsi , chaired by Daniela Stigliano . In the first installation meeting on 25 June, together with the election of the Coordinator, Maureen Bekar (Friuli Venezia Giulia), the Commission launched its own internal organization, with the program and objectives for the coming months.

The basic idea is that, despite its technical and advisory function, to become the meeting point of national coordination and the demands of the Italian freelance, site engine initiatives, debate and action in harmony with the organs of Fnsi and in coordination with regional press and representatives of local freelancers.

The method of work the Commission has set is based on the maximum involvement and collegiality, but with a joint operational che renda però più efficace l'azione.

Nel gruppo Monitoraggio lavoreranno Anna Bruno (Basilicata), Antonio Fraga (Abruzzo), Elizabeth Giudrinetti (Tuscany), Leyla Manuel (Sardinia) and Concetta brighten (Calabria). The team's task is to create, quickly and with the cooperation of the regional commissions working independently, CDR and other entities of the category, an inventory quantity and quality of working conditions for freelance in Italy, organized by type of media and geographical areas. The group

Relations with other agencies are part of category Claudio Chiarani (Trentino Alto Adige), Michael Formichella (Molise), Celeste Morea (Puglia) and Paffumi Xavier (New York). Problems of Interpreting the demonstration against the Law of Trieste-Gags

COMUNICATO STAMPA - A TUTTI I COLLEGHI:

INTERVENTO DEL
COORDINAMENTO PRECARI E FREELANCE
DEL FRIULI VENEZIA GIULIA
, L'1 LUGLIO A TRIESTE,

" citizens, but often the political " said the newly elected coordinator of the National Commission for self-employment of FNSI, Maureen Bekar " do not know that it is the freelance to achieve important parts of local and national level. But when the journalist is underpaid and unprotected hard to ensure good-quality and truly independent, because the freelance live every day under the economic blackmail, and could lose his job if he writes about things unpleasant to the powerful, or is not subservient to the pressures, the conditioning or requests for favors every journalist who eventually receives.

" 's sad " he said in his leaflet Coordination precarious and freelance journalists in Friuli Venezia Giulia " that in a time when the attention of all of us who work in the world of information, should be addressed issues such as ethics, freedom and quality of information, is not guaranteed even our mere survival .

SHAME AGAINST PAY FOR A 'QUALITY OF INFORMATION'

Dear Readers (and listeners, viewers ...)

the Coordination of temporary and freelance journalists in Friuli Venezia Giulia wants to bring to your attention the plight Economic several hundred temporary workers and freelance journalists who work in our region, and thousands throughout Italy. Unfortunately

pay 3, 5 or 10 € one of their item or service radio and television is a practice not only widespread, but also considered "a normal market price" for too many publishers, large and small.

Perhaps readers do not know:
- which to gather information for the freelance articles almost always have to use their own means: car, motorbike, mobile phone, internet, and of course at his expense ...
- which to write an article in 2000-3000 jokes can easily lose some
hours ... ... and that this work will receive a fee, which in many cases does not exceed € 12 gross (which are just deducted taxes, fees, expenses)! Coordination

How we express our outrage at the paltry salaries that we believe and offensive.

and denounce the public to pretend that nothing, not to oppose this disgraceful working conditions, means supporting in fact the exploitation of hundreds of freelancers, young and old, who through their continued work, fill the pages of our newspapers and provide daily services to television and radio stations.

's sad that in a time when the attention of all of us who work in the world of information, should be paid to issues such as ethics, freedom and quality of information, there is no guarantee even the our mere survival.
