LETTERA APERTA
In our view both the report and the conclusions of the Secretary Franco Siddi, both in speeches by President Roberto Natale and many delegates from each region (freelance or otherwise) has been clearly underlined the seriousness of the situation and, therefore, the emergence of instant answers on this front. The debate on this issue has certainly marked one of the highest points of the meeting.
Among the factors that led to this important result at the union level, we must consider the work of the National Commission on Self-Employment FNSI, which prepared the ground with an analytical document and complex and proposals presented to Congress, which was extrapolated from the agenda and then voted by acclamation by the assembly. Another important and highly visible
novelty of this Congress is that for the first time freelance occurred, convinced, in support of the majority that supports the FNSI, betting on the commitment made by the same official with the establishment of the Commission and the Assembly national and regional committees of self-employment. A turning point, it is vital to the health and future of FNSI, and at all obvious, given the serious delays in the past by the syndicate on the face of self-employment and precarious. A
this turning point was reached thanks to the efforts in these first months of operation, the Independent National Commission on Labour, which has been able to collect instances from fellow freelancers and casual workers in different regions and the basic movements (of which and unfortunately ESTABLISHED still operating outside the Union), making them come together in an action consistent with the strategies of FNSI, thus enriching the Trade Union Congress and all.
By this we believe that the Commission, armed with the inside of a variety of experiences, and animated by a spirit of genuine unity and cross-cutting memberships, has proven to efficiently play the role assigned to it by the Federation.
However
representation in trade unions of journalists are insecure, self-employed and freelance still far from reflecting the actual composition of the labor market information, which contracted in front of 20 thousand 24 thousand colleagues do not operate well under contract.
We believe it is essential that the FNSI choose today, and with conviction, to capitalize on the wealth of contributions from the world of freelance, and the poor, ensuring the necessary political support and operating those who may be most involved in this new process union commitment.
We therefore hope that members of the Commission shall be fastened to a suitable outlet for Self-Employment - both in terms of quality and number - between members of the Executive. And what a view of a political investment in the future, but now also present on all of the Syndicate.
we join those who have expressed surprise at the "under-representation of Lombardy" resulted in the polls for elections to the National Council. But like we do this at least as serious an error would be a "representation" of the already elected to the National Commission freelance self-employed who do not fully utilize the resources that the Commission itself has given rise in recent months, beginning with its coordinator, Maurizio Bekar , which was spent with recognized efficacy in the process Innovation union.
also covered the future operation of the Commission, taking into account the constructive spirit that has unified and fairly constantly busy, we are confident that the fundamental decisions are taken concerning them calmly, in a context of transparency and consultation and coordination. We hope in fact that you shun short cuts "Decision", which hardly would be covered in a positive and cooperative atmosphere that has gone so far developed in the Commission and therefore we are confident that this is not the road that will be undertaken.
On this occasion, I offer best wishes to all, conscious of the fact before us a future of increasing potential e impegni, a fronte delle difficoltà ed emergenze che toccano il mondo dell’editoria e della necessità di difendere la qualità dell’informazione e tutelare i diritti del lavoro, ormai sempre più drammaticamente incerto e precario.
