Sbarcano anche in Italia i moduli fotovoltaici Solyndra, la tecnologia specificatamente progettata per ottimizzare le prestazioni dei sistemi fotovoltaici su tetti commerciali.
Le coperture in questione sono quelle di due centri commerciali della catena piemontese Nova Coop, su cui il gruppo ha avviato la realizzazione di due impianti, rispettivamente da 200 kWp e 400 kWp, grazie alla collaborazione di Photovoltaic Systems che seguirà le fasi dell'istallazione.
